This notice explains how Calzo uses personal information when you visit calzo.uk, buy a Wolfie Overdrive Pedal or contact us.
Who is responsible
Calzo is responsible for the personal information used to operate this website and handle your orders. Privacy contact: hello@calzo.uk.
Information we use and why
- Orders: PayPal provides your name, email, delivery address, selected knob finish, delivery region, payment status and transaction references. We use these to send your order confirmation and retain the payment receipt to fulfil your order, handle support, refunds or disputes, and keep required accounting records. Confirmation emails are transactional and do not subscribe you to marketing. The legal bases are performing our contract with you and meeting legal obligations.
- Website security: 20i processes connection information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser details to deliver and protect the site. Checkout uses a session identifier and hashed identifiers for request limits. Our legitimate interests are keeping the website secure, preventing misuse and resolving technical problems.
- Analytics, only if you accept: Google Analytics processes cookie identifiers, visited pages, device/browser information and usage events to help us understand visits and improve the site. This processing relies on your consent. We do not enable Google advertising features or Google Signals in the site's tag.
- Contact: We use information you send us to answer your enquiry or manage an order. This is necessary for your order or our legitimate interest in responding to you.
Full card details and PayPal passwords are handled by PayPal and are not stored on this website. Providing a delivery address and payment information is necessary to buy a pedal; optional analytics is not.
Cookies and changing your choice
Google Analytics does not load until you accept analytics cookies. You can reject it and still browse or purchase. Use to change your choice or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal applies to future collection and does not undo processing that happened with consent. See the cookie policy for storage details.
Services that receive information
20i hosts the website, private checkout records and outgoing order confirmation emails. PayPal handles checkout, fraud checks and payment processing when you choose to pay. Google provides optional Analytics after consent. Order delivery information may also be shared with the delivery service used to dispatch your pedal.
PayPal also uses information under its own privacy statement. Google explains its processing and safeguards in its privacy policy and data processing terms. 20i's privacy policy covers its service. Social, bio and management links take you to separate websites with their own policies; they are links, not embedded social trackers.
International processing
Google and PayPal may process information outside the UK or EEA. Their published privacy and data-processing terms describe the transfer arrangements and safeguards that apply to their services. You can contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.
How long information is kept
Your cookie choice is kept for 180 days before we ask again. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 180 days without extending their expiry on each visit. Analytics reports and events follow the Google Analytics property's configured retention; they are used only for understanding site use and performance.
Uncompleted checkout records older than 30 days are deleted during routine checkout processing. Order and payment records are kept for fulfilment, support, payment disputes and applicable tax/accounting obligations; the duration depends on those requirements and any open dispute. Hosting logs follow the hosting service's security and log-rotation arrangements. Enquiries are kept for the time needed to respond and resolve the matter. PayPal and Google maintain their own records under their respective policies.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restricted processing or a portable copy. You can withdraw analytics consent through Cookie Settings.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the privacy contact above to exercise your rights. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local data protection authority.
Updates
We update this notice when the site's services or data use change. The date above identifies this version.
